2009 Yamaha FX Nytro XTX, Brand new - Exceptional performance for both rough trail and off trail riding. New for 2009, the FX Nytro X-TX is a true crossover snowmobile, that combines incredible rough trail ride comfort with the ability to play off trail. At first you might think that 144 inches could be long for a crossover sled, with most of the competition focusing on 136 inches. But we wanted this new X-TX version of the Nytro to truly excel on and off the trail, especially when it gets rough. While floatation is key to off-trail capability, the skid frame's ability to bridge the bumps plays a huge part in bump stability and rough trail ride comfort. Certainly the 144 inch offers a bigger footprint, so traction and floatation is a no-brainer. But we also wanted to make sure this sled would go around a corner as close to a 121 inch as possible. So we've tipped up the rail by six-degrees, right at the point where a 121 inch skid frame ends. So when you are on hard pack, the X-TX will corner a lot like a 121 inch sled. But as soon as you hit a series of bumps or pop off the trail into the loose snow, you gain the huge benefits of the full 144 inches. With so many advantages over the 136 inch skid frame, we believe the "hybrid" 144 inch Nytro X-TX is not only one of the best crossover sleds, but potentially one of the most stable rough trails sleds on the market today.
